It's recommended to do an InBody scan after 6-8 weeks of a prior scan. In 6-8 weeks you'll be able to see if you're making progress or not. If you waited longer, say 3 months, and you're not making progress, you may have been able to change course at the 6 week mark and not used so much time on a plan that wasn't working for you.
