CrossFit group classes last for one hour (unless specifically specified). 

When you come in a class may be finishing/others may be working out, you can walk around the gym, don't worry you won't interfere. However please do not walk directly in front of someone who is working out. 

If you come in early, grab a foam roller, and roll out any muscles that may feel tight or sore, then do something active until class starts. Rowing, biking and jump rope are great options instead of standing waiting for class to kick off. Start moving! 

At the start time of the class the coach(es) will gather the entire class to go through stretching and a warm up. Please try to be on time. 

We will explain the workout of the day (WOD) and we will teach, to the entire class, the exercises and movements that are in the WOD. We'll make sure you're doing it right, safely, make suggestions, corrections, and give your tips. If you have questions, please go and ask the coach! This is a 2 way street and your input is important.

Then we'll start the workout.

"What if I can't keep up?" If you're thinking this right now, let me put you at ease, this isn't a race and you don't have to keep up with anyone. Everyone goes through the workout at their own pace, and you'll go at yours. 

After you finish, cheer and support the others who are still finishing and once everyone is finished, we'll put equipment back, clean up and stretch. 

It's fun, rewarding and you can do it. But I know that no matter what I say, you may be nervous, intimidated or unsure about getting stated. It's ok. The magic happen when you're actually coming in to workout. You'll see what I'm talking about and love the results.
